Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery projects from target validation through to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex experimental workflows to evaluate compound efficacy and safety profiles.
- Analyze large-scale biological datasets to identify novel therapeutic targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with bioinformatics, clinical pharmacology, and regulatory affairs teams.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Prepare and present high-level findings to executive leadership and scientific advisory boards.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of industry experience in drug discovery within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-throughput screening and molecular assay development.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as R, Python, or Prism.
- Deep understanding of FDA and EMA regulatory requirements for drug development.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities.
