Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery programs from target identification through lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex in-vitro and in-vivo assays to evaluate pharmacological efficacy.
- Analyze multi-omic datasets to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and regulatory teams to ensure smooth transition to IND.
- Author high-quality technical reports, patent applications, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Present scientific findings to stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
- Expertise in cellular signaling, molecular biology techniques, and high-throughput screening.
- Proven track record of scientific publication and successful project delivery.
- Deep understanding of FDA/EMA regulatory pathways for pharmaceutical development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools such as R, Python, or Prism for data analysis.
