Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery programs from target validation through to lead optimization.
- Design and execute high-throughput screening assays using state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation.
- Analyze complex multi-omic datasets to identify novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a collaborative laboratory environment.
- Author high-quality technical reports and internal whitepapers for stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with bioinformatics and clinical trial teams to align research goals.
- Present scientific findings at internal executive forums and external industry conferences.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical research or biotech R&D.
- Deep expertise in cell culture, protein expression, and assay development.
- Proven track record of scientific publication and project delivery.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism, R, or Python.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and FDA/EMA clinical standards.
