Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery projects from target identification to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate pharmacological efficacy.
- Analyze multi-dimensional data sets to drive project decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with medicinal chemistry and computational biology teams to refine lead compounds.
- Present research findings to senior leadership and external scientific partners.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence and rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal safety protocols.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Expertise in cellular assays, flow cytometry, and protein expression analysis.
- Proven track record of scientific contributions, including publications in high-impact journals.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in data visualization software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, or Python).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
