You will play a pivotal role in optimizing lead compounds and driving preclinical development cycles within a collaborative, state-of-the-art laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of complex experimental protocols for drug candidate validation.
- Analyze multi-dimensional data sets to identify potential efficacy markers and safety profiles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacology and toxicology, to expedite pipeline progression.
- Oversee laboratory operations to ensure strict adherence to FDA and GLP/GMP standards.
- Mentor junior research associates and foster a culture of rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Present research findings at internal executive reviews and external industry symposiums.
- Optimize high-throughput screening assays to increase discovery efficiency.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related pharmaceutical science.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral experience in a biopharmaceutical research setting.
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications and patent submissions.
- Expertise in advanced analytical techniques, including LC-MS/MS and high-resolution imaging.
- Deep familiarity with federal regulatory compliance and quality assurance protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and experience leading collaborative scientific projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge complex science and business objectives.
