Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end experimental design and execution for early-stage drug discovery pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze pharmacological data and identify potential therapeutic targets.
- Manage laboratory workflows, ensuring strict adherence to GLP and safety regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior researchers and provide technical guidance on complex assay development.
- Document research findings in comprehensive reports and present data at internal and external scientific symposia.
- Oversee the optimization of lead compounds through iterative screening and validation cycles.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech R&D settings.
- Proven expertise in high-throughput screening, cell-based assays, and biochemical kinetics.
- Deep understanding of FDA/EMA drug development pathways and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, or Python).
- Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
