Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical studies for novel oncology therapeutics
- Optimize drug candidates using high-throughput screening and structure-based design
- Develop and validate in vitro/in vivo assays for efficacy and safety profiling
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to prepare IND-enabling documentation
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at internal/external conferences
- Drive innovation in biologics development and targeted delivery systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in oncology drug discovery and preclinical development
- Proficiency in cell-based assays, PK/PD modeling, and biostatistical analysis
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with FDA/EMA regulatory pathways and GLP compliance
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional project teams
