Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical drug discovery studies using advanced molecular techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into viable therapeutic candidates
- Develop and optimize novel assay protocols for high-throughput screening
- Analyze complex genomic and proteomic data using statistical modeling and bioinformatics tools
- Prepare regulatory documentation and patents ensuring compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in cell-based assays and high-throughput screening methodologies
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature, Science, Cell)
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and statistical analysis software (R, Python)
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP practices and regulatory submission processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex concepts
