Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-throughput screening experiments to identify novel drug candidates.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to advance compounds from hit-to-lead and lead-optimization phases.
- Analyze complex biological datasets using advanced bioinformatic tools to drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with clinical pharmacology teams to define pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles.
- Maintain rigorous documentation compliant with GLP and FDA regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence and innovation.
- Present research findings to senior leadership and external scientific stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry-level pharmaceutical research experience.
- Deep expertise in small molecule drug discovery and assay development.
- Proven track record of high-impact peer-reviewed publications or patent filings.
- Proficiency in R, Python, or relevant statistical software for data interpretation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities in a matrixed organizational structure.
