Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of high-throughput drug screening assays.
- Analyze complex biological data sets to identify novel therapeutic targets.
- Oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with FDA and GLP/GMP standards.
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of rigorous peer review.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support IND-enabling studies.
- Author technical reports, regulatory submissions, and white papers for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage external partnerships with CROs to ensure project timelines and quality metrics are met.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related life science field.
- 5+ years of post-doctoral experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology research environment.
- Proven expertise in small molecule development or biologics.
- Strong background in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, or SAS) for data analysis.
- Deep understanding of FDA/EMA regulatory guidelines for drug discovery.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental alignment.
