Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of preclinical drug discovery experiments using advanced cell culture and animal models
- Develop and optimize high-throughput screening assays for novel therapeutic targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biology, chemistry, regulatory) to advance drug candidates from discovery to IND
- Maintain rigorous documentation of experimental protocols, results, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to strategic R&D planning
- Present findings at internal reviews and external scientific conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in oncology/immunology drug discovery and mechanistic pathway analysis
- Proficiency in primary cell culture, flow cytometry, and in vivo tumor models
- Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications and IND-enabling studies
- Experience with GLP/GMP compliance and regulatory documentation
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary project teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and scientific communication abilities
