Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery programs from target identification through lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex in-vitro and in-vivo assays to evaluate therapeutic efficacy.
- Analyze multi-dimensional data sets to drive informed project decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medicinal chemistry, toxicology, and regulatory affairs teams.
- Author high-quality technical reports and regulatory documentation for FDA/EMA submissions.
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of scientific excellence and rigorous peer review.
- Present research findings at internal executive meetings and major industry conferences.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related pharmaceutical science.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Deep expertise in high-throughput screening, target validation, and pharmacokinetic modeling.
- Proficiency with modern statistical analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, or Python).
- Demonstrated history of successful project delivery within a GxP-regulated environment.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex experimental protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
