As a key member of our R&D team, you'll lead complex research projects from concept to clinical candidate identification, leveraging advanced technologies like CRISPR screening and AI-driven molecular modeling. Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical drug discovery experiments in oncology and immunology therapeutic areas
- Lead interdisciplinary teams of 5-7 scientists across molecular biology, biochemistry, and pharmacology domains
- Develop and optimize high-throughput screening assays using automation and robotics platforms
- Analyze complex genomic and proteomic data using bioinformatics tools and statistical modeling
- Prepare regulatory documentation and present findings to FDA and international health authorities
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to continuous improvement of lab protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in cell-based assays, compound screening, and lead optimization
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature, Science, Cell)
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP regulations and FDA/EMA submission processes
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis software (R, Python, Spotfire)
- Demonstrated project management experience with cross-functional teams
- Validated track record of bringing at least one compound to IND stage
