Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical drug discovery projects targeting novel oncology pathways
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for compound characterization and pharmacokinetic studies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates through IND-enabling studies
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to lab operational excellence
- Prepare regulatory documentation and present findings at scientific conferences
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in pharmaceutical R&D
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in cell-based assays, high-throughput screening, and molecular biology techniques
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP regulations and IND-enabling study design
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Experience with biologics or small molecule drug development preferred
- Valid US work authorization required
