Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical studies for novel therapeutic candidates
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for compound characterization and biomarker validation
- Collaborate with CMC team to support IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and manage research project timelines/budgets
- Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related life science field
- 5+ years of industry experience in drug discovery/preclinical development
- Expertise in assay development, high-throughput screening, and data analysis
- Proven track record of IND-enabling studies and regulatory documentation
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Experience with GLP compliance and regulatory interactions
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics tools
