Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex preclinical research studies on novel therapeutic compounds
- Design and optimize experimental protocols for drug formulation and delivery systems
- Analyze and interpret biological data using advanced statistical and bioinformatics tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including toxicology, clinical, and regulatory affairs
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to strategic research planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in drug discovery, pharmacokinetics, and preclinical development
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and molecular modeling
- Experience with GLP/GMP compliance and regulatory documentation
- Publication record in high-impact pharmaceutical research journals
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex research projects
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
