Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical drug discovery studies using advanced molecular biology techniques
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for compound characterization and pharmacokinetic profiling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates through IND-enabling studies
- Prepare regulatory documentation and scientific reports for FDA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to R&D strategy planning
- Stay current with emerging technologies in CRISPR, gene therapy, and AI-driven drug design
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in in vitro/in vivo pharmacology and toxicology methodologies
- Familiarity with GGLP/GLP compliance and regulatory submission processes
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals
- Proficiency in high-throughput screening and analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LC-MS)
- Experience with IND/CTA documentation and clinical trial design
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary project teams
