Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of in vitro and in vivo experiments to validate drug targets
- Develop and optimize assay protocols for high-throughput screening of compound libraries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medicinal chemistry and toxicology
- Prepare comprehensive study reports and present findings to regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to laboratory process improvements
- Stay current with emerging regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in cell culture techniques and animal model development
- Proven track record in drug discovery from target validation to IND-enabling studies
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP regulations and FDA/EMA guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with statistical software (R, Python, GraphPad Prism)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
