Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-throughput screening assays for lead optimization.
- Analyze complex biochemical datasets to identify potential drug candidates.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to meet rigorous drug development milestones.
- Draft and submit high-quality patent applications and peer-reviewed research papers.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA and international standards.
- Mentor junior research associates and foster a culture of scientific excellence.
- Present research findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
- Demonstrated expertise in assay development and medicinal chemistry principles.
- Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis and bioinformatics software (e.g., GraphPad, R, Python).
- Strong track record of publication in high-impact scientific journals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and clinical trial phases.
