Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies to validate novel drug targets and mechanisms of action
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in developing and optimizing candidate molecules using advanced screening platforms
- Analyze high-dimensional biological data (genomic, proteomic, metabolomic) to identify biomarkers and therapeutic insights
- Prepare regulatory documentation (INDs, IMPDs) and ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Present research findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders at scientific conferences
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related discipline with 7+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in cell-based assays, high-throughput screening, and molecular profiling techniques
- Proven track record in advancing drug candidates through preclinical development phases
- Deep knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations and pharmaceutical quality systems
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and/or patents
- Experience with in vivo pharmacology models and translational research methodologies
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex experimental challenges
