Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical studies for novel therapeutic candidates
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams from target identification through IND-enabling studies
- Analyze complex biological data using advanced statistical methodologies
- Prepare regulatory documentation and interact with FDA/EMA authorities
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows
- Collaborate with clinical teams to translate research into human trials
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences field
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical R&D experience in drug discovery
- Proven track record with in vivo/ in vitro assay development
- Expertise in GLP-compliant study design and execution
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- FDA/EMA regulatory affairs experience preferred
- Proficiency with computational biology tools (e.g., Genedata, Pipeline Pilot)
