We seek a visionary Senior Research Scientist to drive our preclinical pipeline from concept to IND submission. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams in designing and executing cutting-edge molecular biology experiments, optimizing lead compounds, and translating complex data into actionable therapeutic strategies. Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical research studies to evaluate therapeutic efficacy and safety of novel drug candidates
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing target identification strategies and mechanism-of-action hypotheses
- Optimize lead compounds through structure-activity relationship (SAR) analysis and medicinal chemistry collaboration
- Generate and interpret high-impact data using advanced techniques: CRISPR screening, single-cell RNA-seq, and in vivo models
- Author regulatory documents (INDs, IMPDs) and present findings to FDA and internal stakeholders
- Mentor junior scientists and drive innovation in experimental design and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in oncology or immunology therapeutic areas with 3+ IND-enabling studies
- Proficiency in GxP-compliant documentation and regulatory pathway navigation
- Advanced technical skills: primary cell culture, flow cytometry, and high-throughput screening platforms
- Demonstrated leadership in publishing high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals
- Strong collaboration skills with medicinal chemistry and CRO partners
- FDA/EMA regulatory strategy experience preferred
