Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery programs from hit-to-lead through preclinical development.
- Design and execute high-throughput screening assays to identify novel therapeutic targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and bioinformatics.
- Analyze complex biological datasets to derive actionable insights for pipeline advancement.
- Prepare and present high-level technical reports and scientific findings to executive stakeholders.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence within the laboratory.
- Ensure full compliance with GLP/GMP standards and regulatory documentation protocols.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related pharmaceutical science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial pharmaceutical R&D environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary research projects.
- Expertise in cell-based assays, CRISPR gene editing, or high-content imaging.
- Deep understanding of the drug discovery lifecycle and current FDA/EMA regulatory landscapes.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, or Python).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge complex scientific concepts with business strategy.
