Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies
- Develop and optimize biochemical assays for target validation and compound screening
- Analyze multi-omics data (genomics, proteomics) to identify novel therapeutic targets
- Prepare regulatory documentation (INDs, IMPDs) and interact with FDA/EMA
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at international conferences
- Drive continuous improvement of research protocols and automation systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9, RNAi, and high-content screening platforms
- Proven track record of advancing 3+ preclinical candidates to IND
- Strong proficiency in Python/R for bioinformatics analysis
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature Medicine, Cell)
- FDA/EMA regulatory affairs experience in drug development
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to C-suite investors
