Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical drug development studies
- Optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization
- Collaborate with CMC teams on formulation strategies
- Author regulatory documentation and study protocols
- Mentor junior scientists and oversee laboratory operations
- Present findings at cross-functional stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
- 5+ years of industry drug development experience
- Expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, and biophysical assays
- Proven track record in IND-enabling studies
- FDA/ICH regulatory compliance knowledge
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with GLP/GMP environments
