Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical research studies to evaluate novel drug candidates
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and optimizing experimental protocols
- Analyze complex biological data and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Ensure compliance with FDA/ICH guidelines and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to strategic research planning
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to support IND/NDA submissions
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences field
- 5+ years of industry experience in drug discovery or preclinical development
- Expertise in molecular biology techniques and cell-based assays
- Strong statistical analysis skills with proficiency in R or Python
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research
- Experience with GLP compliance and regulatory documentation
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
