Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of complex experimental workflows for novel drug candidates.
- Analyze multi-omic data sets to identify and validate new therapeutic targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medicinal chemistry and pharmacology teams to optimize lead compounds.
- Author technical reports, regulatory documents, and peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- Mentor junior researchers and technicians in advanced laboratory best practices.
- Present research findings to senior executive stakeholders and scientific advisory boards.
- Oversee lab safety compliance and equipment maintenance in accordance with FDA standards.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline.
- Minimum of 4+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
- Proven expertise in high-throughput screening, CRISPR-Cas9, or flow cytometry.
- Strong background in data visualization software such as GraphPad Prism, R, or Python.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Experience working in a GLP/GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
- Demonstrated history of successful project management in a fast-paced biotech setting.
