Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using Eclipse and Petrel software
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in optimizing well placement and hydraulic fracturing designs
- Analyze production data to identify enhanced oil recovery opportunities
- Develop economic forecasts and reserves reports for SEC compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation in AI-driven reservoir analytics
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated reservoir characterization studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel) and data analytics
- Strong understanding of Darcy flow, material balance equations, and well testing
- Proven track record of optimizing production in shale formations
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and automation tools
