Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and analysis of reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize recovery factors.
- Develop and implement comprehensive field development plans (FDP) for mature and greenfield assets.
- Conduct detailed petrophysical analyses and integrate subsurface data to define well targets and completion strategies.
- Oversee drilling operations and provide real-time engineering support to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Analyze production data trends and troubleshoot field issues to maximize asset uptime and economic returns.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas operations, with a focus on reservoir engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid dynamics, and well stimulation techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
