Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced hydraulic fracturing techniques
- Develop and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and recovery factors
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating real-time data analytics with subsurface modeling
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for new exploration projects and field development plans
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer through technical workshops
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and environmental regulations in all engineering activities
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to identify new reserve opportunities and improve field economics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong background in well completion design and hydraulic fracturing optimization
- Proven track record in developing field development plans and economic modeling
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in remote operations
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Deep understanding of US shale plays, particularly Permian Basin operations
