Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir models to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and optimize field development plans.
- Analyze geological and geophysical data to identify drilling targets and assess reservoir properties.
- Supervise drilling operations and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and field crews.
- Conduct pressure transient analysis and production forecasting to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations across all project phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce operational costs and improve well productivity.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas operations.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering principles, and production optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under high-pressure deadlines.
- Proven leadership experience and strong communication skills.
