Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs using advanced reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in well completion and hydraulic fracturing operations
- Develop production forecasts and economic models for unconventional assets
- Implement digital twin technologies for real-time field performance monitoring
- Conduct reservoir characterization using seismic interpretation and well log analysis
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-generation downhole sensor technologies
- Mentor junior engineers through PetroTech's structured career development program
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream engineering experience with unconventional plays
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expertise in hydraulic fracturing design and production optimization
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software and data analytics tools
- Demonstrated success in reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Strong project management skills with $50M+ budget experience
- Knowledge of emerging decarbonization technologies in oil & gas
