Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using ECLIPSE and PETREL software
- Lead production optimization initiatives for unconventional shale assets
- Conduct economic analysis and risk assessment for drilling programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on well completions and hydraulic fracturing
- Develop field development plans aligned with corporate strategic objectives
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical knowledge transfer
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, PETREL)
- Proven track record in unconventional shale development
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production forecasting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep understanding of drilling, completions, and production technologies
