Responsibilities
- Lead Design Initiatives: Oversee the design and architecture of complex electrical power distribution systems and control panels.
- System Optimization: Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to improve system efficiency, reliability, and safety standards.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all engineering designs strictly adhere to NEC, IEEE, and local safety codes.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Field Support: Provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master’s degree (MSEE) preferred.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical system design, power electronics, or automation.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, MATLAB, or SPICE.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of PLCs, SCADA systems, and circuit theory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
