Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies.
- Supervise drilling operations and provide technical solutions for complex wellbore challenges.
- Analyze production data and well logs to identify opportunities for increased recovery rates.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on all sites.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in upstream oil and gas operations.
- Proven expertise in reservoir characterization, PVT analysis, and reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
