Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for offshore and unconventional projects
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in optimizing production strategies and enhancing recovery rates
- Conduct economic feasibility studies and production forecasting for new developments
- Develop innovative solutions to reduce carbon footprint in extraction processes
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic data into reservoir characterization
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and industry partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations with focus on reservoir engineering
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, Eclipse, or similar)
- Strong background in production optimization and enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Proven experience leading projects in offshore or deepwater environments
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory frameworks (BOEM, API standards)
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological data
