Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems and power distribution networks from concept through to deployment.
- Conduct thorough circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into broader mechanical systems.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, safety codes (NFPA, NEC), and environmental regulations.
- Lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of electrical prototypes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably within the power systems or manufacturing sector.
- Proven proficiency with industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Altium Designer.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, embedded systems, and circuit theory.
- PE License (Professional Engineer) is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
