Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, Nexus)
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in well design, hydraulic fracturing, and production enhancement initiatives
- Analyze complex geological data to identify new drilling opportunities and optimize field development
- Develop economic models for project evaluation and recommend capital allocation strategies
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices (API, SPE standards)
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer across technical teams
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate seismic interpretation into reservoir characterization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation and production analysis software
- Proven track record in field development planning and economic modeling
- Strong understanding of drilling operations, completions, and production optimization
- Certification as a Petroleum Engineer (PE) or equivalent professional designation
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects in high-pressure environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
