Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional gas/oil projects
- Lead field development planning and production optimization strategies
- Conduct economic analysis and reserves evaluation for capital projects
- Manage cross-functional teams including geoscientists and drilling engineers
- Apply AI/ML technologies for predictive maintenance and production forecasting
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental stewardship standards
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus, or PETEX)
- Demonstrated experience with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing
- Strong background in economic modeling and reserves reporting (SEC standards)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies (IoT, SCADA, real-time analytics)
- Proven leadership in multidisciplinary project teams
