Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reservoir characterization and fluid flow simulations to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Design and optimize drilling programs, including well completion strategies and intervention plans.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancement techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geologists, geophysicists, drilling engineers) to ensure project alignment.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and feasibility studies for executive stakeholders.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with environmental regulations and internal safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or similar reservoir simulators.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical presentations.
- Willingness to travel to field sites and work in various conditions.
