Responsibilities
- Design and optimize field development plans for complex reservoir systems
- Conduct advanced reservoir simulations using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Lead well design, completion strategies, and production enhancement projects
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities and cost reduction
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop economic models and AFEs for capital project approval
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well testing, and production analysis
- Proficiency in reservoir modeling software and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of drilling/completion technologies and hydraulic fracturing
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with unconventional reservoirs (shale, tight formations) preferred
