Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced well completion strategies for shale and offshore reservoirs
- Conduct reservoir simulation modeling to forecast production and optimize recovery rates
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in field development planning and economic analysis
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Analyze geological data to identify new drilling opportunities and reduce operational risks
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement in engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong knowledge of horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing technologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in field development planning and economic modeling
- Experience with offshore and unconventional reservoirs
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
