Responsibilities
- Lead advanced reservoir simulation studies and production optimization workflows using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Design and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques to maximize asset productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on well design, drilling programs, and completion strategies
- Analyze geological and production data to identify new reserve opportunities and reduce operational costs
- Develop integrated field development plans aligned with corporate sustainability objectives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream operations with deepwater or unconventional assets
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software and production forecasting tools
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated experience with EOR techniques (gas injection, chemical flooding, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data
- Proven leadership in multidisciplinary project teams
- Knowledge of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies considered advantageous
