Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize field development strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program planning and execution oversight
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and recommend operational improvements
- Develop comprehensive well completion and stimulation plans for unconventional resources
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for new exploration and production projects
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (SPE, API) and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in upstream operations and reservoir engineering
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Proven track record in unconventional resource development (shale, tight formations)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and automation solutions
