Responsibilities
- Design and optimize advanced reservoir simulation models using Petrel and Eclipse software
- Lead production enhancement initiatives through hydraulic fracturing and artificial lift systems
- Analyze well performance data to identify production bottlenecks and recommend solutions
- Develop economic models for field development plans and capital expenditure proposals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training workshops
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geoscience and operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with deepwater and unconventional plays
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong background in production forecasting and decline curve analysis
- Demonstrated success in AFE development and cost optimization
- Experience mentoring technical teams and driving continuous improvement
