Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing well completion and hydraulic fracturing programs
- Analyze production data using AI-driven analytics to identify enhancement opportunities
- Prepare technical documentation and economic models for field development plans
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate geological data into engineering workflows
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards (e.g., API, ISO)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream operations with 5+ years in senior roles
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong background in unconventional reservoir development (shale gas/oil)
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven track record in economic modeling and field development planning
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and automation systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders
