Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling/completion programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced hydraulic fracturing techniques
- Develop reservoir simulation models to forecast production rates and recovery factors
- Lead field development planning for multi-well pad projects across Permian and Eagle Ford basins
- Conduct economic analysis and risk assessment for capital expenditure projects
- Mentor junior engineers and implement best practices in HSE compliance
- Collaborate with subsurface teams on seismic interpretation and structural modeling
- Interface with land and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related technical field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, PETREL)
- Expertise in hydraulic fracturing design and production optimization
- Strong understanding of Texas regulatory frameworks (RRC, Railroad Commission)
- Proven track record in unconventional asset development (shale gas/oil)
- PMP or PE certification highly desirable
