Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced simulation software
- Analyze production data to enhance recovery factors and maximize asset value
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing digital twin technologies for field operations
- Develop reservoir management plans ensuring compliance with EPA and BSEE regulations
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining industry best practices in safety protocols
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic data into drilling strategies
- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML) for predictive maintenance in production facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream experience with shale/tight formations
- Proficiency in PETREL, Eclipse, and reservoir simulation tools
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling technologies
- Demonstrated project leadership in capital-intensive field developments
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in oil and gas operations
- Excellent analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
