Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead well design and hydraulic fracturing programs for unconventional plays
- Conduct economic analysis and reserves evaluations for portfolio optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
- Ensure compliance with SPE standards and environmental regulations
- Develop digital transformation initiatives using AI/ML for predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream operations with unconventional plays
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, Nexus)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong background in well completions and hydraulic fracturing
- Proven track record of reserve growth projects
- Advanced data analysis skills with Python/R
