Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for complex hydrocarbon formations
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in optimizing drilling operations and production strategies
- Analyze seismic data and well logs to identify new exploration opportunities
- Develop comprehensive economic models for field development plans
- Ensure compliance with API, OSHA, and EPA safety/environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in PETREL, Eclipse, and other reservoir simulation software
- Strong knowledge of directional drilling and hydraulic fracturing techniques
- Proven track record in field development planning and economic analysis
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with deepwater Gulf of Mexico projects highly valued
